Very nice! I have a salesman sample stock certificate that Gugler sold. K.B. (Kihn Bros.) produced the "blank," then Gugler would lithograph the text, to the specs of the customer. You can see Gugler's punch lettering at the lower right.
I am donating these (4 stamps) to the Wisconsin Historical Society
Hello Rodney,
Your email to the Wisconsin Historical Society regarding two 1914 stamps advertising the Gugler Company has been forwarded to me for response. We have a Gugler collection in the archives that includes examples of their printing and lithography work, but few examples from the time period of the two stamps you have. If the two stamps were sent as a donation, we would be happy to accept them for this collection. Should you wish to pursue this you may send them to my attention at:
Jonathan Nelson Wisconsin Historical Society 816 State Street Madison, WI 53706 USA
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for contacting the Wisconsin Historical Society about these two stamps.
