In the scott catalogue it claims that there are no used copys recorded. Why is there certified canceled copys

Used examples were submitted by their owners as such but, if you look at the opinions rendered, all were found by the PF to be the common #179 or #185.

I perused the PF database and did not see any used 181s. The only used stamps that I saw had been submitted as 181 but identified as 179. Did I miss one?
