Hi all,

Am curious to learn more about these jumbo-sized stamps from Guatemala. Scott doesn't assign a catalogue number to either, but notes in the catalogue after C789 that these were issued and gives them a SCV of $100 and $125 apiece.

I'm breaking down an album and have no use for them (and just put them up on ebay), but am curious as to why they were issued, and if they ever really saw postal duty - I assume they were issued just for the philatelic market. Has anyone ever come across a postally used example?

Ah, thanks for the link to the other thread - I tried a search here first but came up with nothing.

rod222, I put mine up on ebay for significantly less than that auction - guess I should've checked first! (Priced to sell, I suppose...)

you placed what was to you, a fair price,
nothing wrong with that.
Be careful of the honey trap of over priced listings.
I often watch over priced stamps / cinderellas, of my interest
and I cannot recall a sale.

I often list my sales at 99c and sometimes nothing. no watchers
it can be a tough gig.
