Akata, Gumaca, Mactan, Chabacano And Others .

Probably in the mid-1960s (imperforate) stamps for Akata, Gumaca State, Mactan Island, Repoeblik Chabacano, Kalimantan Republik and others were created for philippine phantom areas and islands. These stamps were produced in a very simple way and they all have quite the same outlook and stlye. Does anybody know of their origin? Who has printed (made) these phantoms? Was it Jim Czyl from Posen (IL)?

Here's a comment by Donald N. Riemer in his Turtles & tortoises on stamps list, concerning a turtle stamp from Mactan Island:

"Cinderellas produced at a U.S. airbase on Mactan Island by Mr. Cyzl who was stationed there. Perfs were added when Mr. Cyzl returned to the U.S. Available perf. and imperf."
