Hello I'm Jeremy.

I've been an avid collector of primarily US stamps 1847 to 1936 plus BOB and not afraid of used stamps. Lately I have been putting together a study of Washingtons and Franklins by type and even attempting color shade varieties. I know that it is daunting task but has been rewarding thus far. I also must say it has also been fun.

Shakey 7,

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences. Russ

Your statement is absolutely correct Russ. If I run into any real stumpers I will definitely ask for help. All of the fun is identification and I love a good challenge.
