Since getting my uncle's collection back, and deciding to add to it, I've mostly been creating some topical pages on scrapbook paper, because I couldn't spend money on a good album, right now… when lo, and behold, I stumbled on an auction for an older Scott Modern, with a small lot of stamps, it has a couple loose pages, so I took a chance, and bid…I won, and got it all for a grand total of $9.17.

It's up to 1975, and I've already added some blank pages for more recent stamps, bought Chicago screw extenders to alleviate the binder cramming that was going on, put the loose pages into clear protectors, and now, Im on a roll.

Congratulations on the find. Couple things to be aware of.
Not all page protectors are archival safe. You might want to make sure you're using materials that won't cause long term damage.
For pages: You can get free album pages that you can printout yourself: google free album pages. Archival safe paper / light card stock is available at many stationary supply stores or online. If you choose to go that route there have been several threads on this board that discuss making your own pages. Sites like stampsmarter, philosateleia, stampweb, the APS website and stampalbumsweb are all good resources for free pages and ideas.

Jconey, they are archival safe, I used to do some scrapbooking, so I'm aware of those potential problems.
