Does anyone have this variety or found it online since they are still available out there for finding and buying at the regular unidentified coil stamp price?

Thus, the line perforator that was used to line perforate blank start and end coil tabs from 1935 to 1967 and that was also used to line perforate coil stamps and blank start and end coil tabs from 1912 to 1929 was also used to perforate some Canada Scott # 239 and # 240 coil stamps. So far, no other similar occurrence has been found for any other perf. 8 coil stamps from 1935 to 1948.

I have just been looking through what I have and found a couple of examples on the 3 cent value which is good.

I think I understand on what this is all bout but I have a couple of comments.

For the sheets used for "wheel" perforator the short strips were joined after perforating so you would not expect the perfs in a paste up pair to match.

On the other hand if the paste up pair came from a reel fed printing, where the web had been repaired, The perfs from the bar perforator through the join should be perfectly aligned. I would expect these to be much less common. I have only one Mufti paste up pair which appears to be from a "bar" perforator.

Also on the QE2 starter and end strips I have all the perforations were done by the "wheel" perforator as mentioned above.

Here is an interesting Canada Scott 240 used coil strip of 5 stamps. At first, it may look like it's just an ordinary strip, but it currently has some interesting features. It is of the uneven perforation variety. It is the longest strip known so far of Scott 240 for this variety. It also has the only stamps of this variety of Scott 240 so far that have been found used.

Thus, what looks like another common used strip of this coil stamp is not common at all when examined more closely.
