Just fella, no doubling here. There typically has to be two clearly separated sets of lines everywhere. Doubling of both colors is probably impossible since each color was printed separately here.

If analysis by Tyler shows this is forged, then it is. Still, I'd agree that this is an overinked genuine as parts appears to be impressed into the paper, making this typographed, unlikely for a forgery. Further, this stamp is comb perfed which forgers wouldn't bother about or couldn't create.

Jossanders52, 1c went a long way back in the day. The prolific forgers, Fournier and the Spiro brothers, produced tons of such forgeries to be sold on in quantity to the packet trade. So there were both wholesalers and retailers making money.

I agree no doubling I did think it odd to be on just one side, but seeing I wasn't sure I asked
