This is a stock image don't know if it's a photo I took from a book or borrowed.
But you should be able to find it so you know this one isn't altered

I found a stamp a while before I seen this image (so I probably got it from Maury)
That there me off, I asked a couple people around me and they laughed and said no
Well instead of giving up I kept trying to figure it out what did I see?
How did it get there? I thought I was loosing it
Well I figured out how to put it together!
Now I don't have 100% details yet but I got enough I think
1901-every officer was issued a gun.
How was the cost and availability of materials?
Mouchon was under pressure to come up with a new design (far as I could tell)

An artist will use any blank space and fill it
Inspired momentarily by anything they may see!
Well here we go

I think the suggestion is that Mouchon overlaid his sower drawing with his Rights of Man illustration. Again, a straightforward explanation of the claim would have been more useful.

Just_fella is reminding all that it's the journey, not the destination ...that matters.
In my opinion. Love it.

The journey? Well, there is a Beat generation stream of consciousness feel about them. Kerouac recidivus.

More than Beat, it's an acknowledgment of my own mortality. Here now, not forever, it's the journey that matters.
I think that Kerouac embraced that. The OP leaves it to us to decide..... It doesn't matter.
Don has constantly preached "Be kind" ... A great thought.

The best way to get helpful responses is to; gather your thoughts, compose a well thought out post which contains all the discovery and info that you have completed, state what you are looking for (is it rare, what is the value, who designed this stamp, what are the perfs on the right side, etc.) with a few succinct questions.
Avoid cluttering up existing threads by adding unrelated stamps and making threads run on for many pages; start a new thread for different stamps unless they are in the same family/topic. In other words, only make posts which apply the thread title.

I think you are a little confused between designs, such as the Sower and Right of Man, and print technology where the image is done as a half tone. In the half tone the image is represented by a bunch of dots of ink, with dot size determining the 'density' of the color, so solid areas have the dots large enough to merge with each other and light areas have separate small dots. The two designs are very different, the two images you are using are similar on that they are both half tone, but not otherwise.

The inkjet look is probably from the print on the photo from the book :)
other features remain

You could look in the book and find the image so you know I haven't tampered with it
I zoomed in
