Greetings all. I had inherited a stamp collection many years ago from my grandmother. Unfortunately, with everything that has gone on, I now need to sell the collection. I have catalogued the stamps - with there being over 1800 of them. They are all hinged and in six separate volumes of the International Postage Stamp Album books. But you can ask input on the best way to disposition the collection (ideally posting a few representative images of the collection). Be aware that 1800 stamps is a very small collection and that general worldwide stamps might only be worth a small fraction of catalog value. If your grandmother was very wealthy and spent significant money on the collection, then you may have something that dealers are interested in. Otherwise it might be best to sell it on ebay, start it at enough to cover the postage, and hope for the best.

Advice will require information. Are the stamps mint/unused or used with cancellations? Did you use Scott catalogue and what year? Some scans of the early U.S. and any early Asian stamps would help a lot. Early Europe countries. Real world pricing and catalogue pricing can be far far apart. Unless some money was spent the value of 1800 stamps is problematic.
