A more realistic price. Spanish Morocco Voluntary Telegraph Charity Stamps. Note: Charity stamps (Zaragoza etc) are listed in Galvez, Unsure about Tangiers / Span. Morocco. |

1956 Charities TANGER = Tangiers The town is the capital of the Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region. (Roberto's link to catalogue, does not show the differing varieties of each value) |

Hello Rod,
The 2 different color flowers values are as far as I understand 2 different sets (different years?) The sets I show in post "Posted 11/19/2021 12:30 am" are translated into orphans of the telegraph workers" MY guess is that this were supplementary stamps to be used on telegrams. Similar you have stamps for orphans of postal workers. If they are supplementary on telegrams they are not listed under telegraph stamps, but like mentioned in this thread they are listed in Edifil under beneficiencia "benefits" |

Hi Jos, I have been corresponding to the webmaster at world wide telegraphs, I sent him the set/s (Unknown if they are 2 sets, or just varieties) He dismisses them, as telegraphs, and accepts as charity benefits. I am happy with that decision. to wit The Huérfanos charity stamps I cover at: https://gb-precancels.org/Telegraph...x-Es.html#S5and for Tanger, Morocco at the bottom of : https://gb-precancels.org/Telegraph...d/Moroc.html br / I show only a representative selection because they are not Telegraph stamps. They could form part of a Thematic collection though. Regards Steve. |

Rod, Thanks. I think you miss 1 stamp of 25 cents. I do see in ebay a total of 12 stamps for these 2? Sets. |

Quote: Thanks. I think you miss 1 stamp of 25 cents. I do, I do, Jos. I paid, I think around $12 for a bunch of Telegraph stamps, of which these were included. I am happy with most missing stamps (except Romania and Turkey) as long as I have a representative set, for ID and interest. I do not see these that often. |
