It's That Time Again - Cleaning Out The Buy / Sell / Trade Forums

Friends:

I have performed some overdue housekeeping on the Buy/Sell/Trade (BST) forums.

As you know, after 3 months of inactivity, threads are moved to the "BST Ended" section.

You are always free to edit, refresh, and repost your threads. This keeps everything fresh and draws new eyeballs from those of us who use the NEW-POST button in the top menu.

Remember to review the rules.

If you post an item to sell, include the PRICE you're asking. The more details you provide, the more results you get.

If you sell an item and want to end an item, or clean up something I've missed, open your original post, click "Send Note to Staff" and type something like "END THIS"

A question regarding the trading category: I traded the material offered and tried to delete/close the post, but that doesn't seem to be possible. I then added a reply stating that the stamps offered had been traded and added "offer ended" to the title. Is this the accepted way to close out a trade offer or does the admin prefer notification or other process?

Although we try to read every post we sometimes miss one. So best to use the "Send Note To Staff" link from the thread in that needs to be closed. Big red lights flash on the top of our monitors when you use this method.

Four of my ebay listings from 2021 were moved this week. I would personally feel if they're long expired that you could feel free to delete them ... maybe others might not. Just a thought ...
