I got these from a local collector who bought these for his daughter after she initially showed interest in stamp collecting, but never pursued the hobby. These have been unshrinkwrapped but have never been used. I've checked them and they are essentially brand new.

7 volumes in total, all in padded binders with slipcases.

For comparison purposes, I'm going to say 6 volumes. The 7th volume is just 2006 and 2007 so it's not the complete volume 7. You'd have to obtain supplements to fill it out.

Here is what it would cost for 6 volumes (ignoring the partial 7th volume) from the following vendors including shipping (plus whatever sales tax your state would charge):

Potomac Supplies: $1,120.21
ihobb: $1,165.65
Subway: $1,207.00
Palo: $1,351.00

If there is a cheaper vendor in the U.S. that I'm not aware of, please let me know.

I'm asking basically half price: $600 + actual shipping. And you're getting the partial 7th volume (2006 + 2007 with padded binder and slipcase) thrown in for free.

Continental U.S. only due to bulk and weight. Payment by personal check or money order. I'll have to pack and weigh and get actual shipping costs to your destination before payment is made.

Thanks for looking.

You asked: Potomac Supplies is doing the six volumes for $1056.80, and another $99.20 for 2017-2019. So $1156 for 1847-2019.

Thanks, but you skipped a volume in your numbers. You added a partial volume 8 but missed the complete volume 7. Also their shipping costs are much higher than other vendors. The total from Potomac including shipping for the 8 volumes 1847-2019 is $1,446.69 + tax.

The comparable for the 6 volumes I use for the other vendors above is $1,120.21 shipped, which is $40 cheaper net than the lowest I had found, so thank you.

Yes a wonderful album at a great savings but it does not include Scott numbers, which would hamper a new collector.

Actually, I suspect a multi-volume album like this is the last thing a new collector needs!

Updating this thread to include an offer I made to an interested party and thus will offer it to anyone else interested:

I will pay the insured ground shipping to continental U.S. addresses, which is roughly $84.

So the total cost will just be the $600 net.

The person who previously expressed interest has backed out. Since I have it already packed up and ready to ship, I'm lowering the price to $550 for the set, still including shipping to continental U.S. addresses.
