I've tried several times to create an account and make a purchase of stamps directly from Correos Mexico at their philatelic sales site - www.tienda.sepomex.gob.mx. Each time I end up getting errors at some point, sometimes for the account setup, and more often on the sales end for paying by credit card. Has anyone had any success using this site and have any pointers on what I might be doing wrong? I'm trying to build out my more recent years of Mexico stamp collection. If I buy from them, then of course I'll be paying face value. If someone out there wants to sell to me, I'm willing to pay a premium, but most of the offers I see online price things at full retail/catalog. Thanks for any help.

I too have tried but failed. Cannot even get stamps sent to an associate in Ecatepec.

I have been to Palacio Postal 3 times in person. Bought hundreds of dollars each time.

Have 2018 - 2022 many issues. *** Edited by Staff - Please review the rules that you agreed to when you registered. ***

Found this thread while searching for correos Mexico. I recently have had a similar experience looking for stamps to buy directly from Mexico's official philatelic website, "http://www.tienda.sepomex.gob.mx"

I've tried in several browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari) and they all alert me the website is "Not Secure". To the best of my basic understanding, this is due to the poor encryption used on the website which runs the risk of having personal data intercepted. Combine this warning with the anecdotes of scammers bribing officials for foreigner's information, I'm extremely hesitant to register for an account on that website.

It's a shame since Mexico has many great stamps and the website has a large collection available. I hope one day to find a similar source for modern Mexico stamps.

Guy Shaw offers a subscription service for new issues. Website should be easy to find.
