Russia Rossica 29Aa.

Came across this one...
Pretty sure it's not significant a shift to be labeled a 29Ec
(My opinion)

Then I went threw another book I had order a while ago and came across a entree that my fit
I feel this has the possibility of being what is suggested by feht as
"printing error 6- background printed on design"

Minimum catalogue value would just be something interesting to add to my collection if it is.

Opinions or thoughts?

Looks like a shifted background?

What is Rossica 29? I was not aware that there is a Rossica catalog.

Online off the Journal of the Rossica society of Russian philately
It's listed under ninth issue
29Aa 2 kop dark blue green (what I've narrowed it too)
Or suggested by feht 29A type lll

Justfella - It would be more helpful if you used a standard catalog reference such as Scott, Zagorsky, Michel etc.. The Rossica Journal is not a catalog and it is very hard for people to help you out when they cannot get on the same page with you in the first place. Not picking on you. Just trying to help and to see you get help more easily. Some of these posts get very confusing.

PS: What is "feht 29A"?

In another past post I did I was asked to refer to it as "suggested by feht"
For ease seeing the title is quite long

Horizontally laid perf 14 to 15 and compound
#32 A5 2k dark green

Rossica lists background shift as R ( I don't think it's that)
Feht suggested the value would be low and not uncommon on a "background printed on the design"
That's why I went with that direction

Your stamp is Zagorsky 45-Ka and it occurs in positions 74, 75, 89 and 90 of the 1888 issue of this stamp. Zagorsky only prices it in MNH at a 30% premium (4,000 Rubles as opposed to 3,000 Rubles) over a regular 45.

I'm assuming the 45-ka is shifted? (Rossica listing of R never a thought)
Based on the positions provided

The 45-Ka detail in the Zagorsky catalog looks exactly like your scanned stamp.

I just thought the light green was under the dark green covering most on a normal stamp

Don't overthink it. The point is that the two are not in alignment.

As Peter said above:

Fair enough,
the value would remain the same either way so it doesn't matter
Having the zagorsky # and possible positions is a big plus (I'll have to add it to the list of catalogues needed)
