On November 2, 2004 Great Britain issued its six-value Christmas set. The 68 p stamp (SG #2499) from this set shows Father Christmas on a rooftop holding a flashlight/torch.

Here is Luxembourg's May 9, 2004 fifty cent stamp (Sc #1140) commemorating the Summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. The artwork for this stamp features flag and torch bearers. It was done by a schoolgirl Alexandra Bliska.

Ahh, I forgot about that lovely Santa-clause with torch, bookbndrbob. And I really like the Orly Airport's spot lights! Here are some more Olympic torches.

This hand torch is not turned on... it should be easy and obvious how to make the bulb lit, just reducing the green print colour effectively - but you will see the reason why the designer did not choose to do that, from the series as a whole. https://wellcentred.wordpress.com/c.../san-marino/

This self-adhesive, "local addresses" (20c) stamp (SG #779) of Singapore is one of five different designs from the September 14, 1994 booklet of 10 (5 x 2) Greetings stamps. It depicts a birthday cake with lit candles.

Here is the 20c value (Sc #314) from Switzerland's February 27, 1948 four-stamp set commemorating the centenary of the Swiss Confederation (federal state). Stamp shows Helvetia aloft carrying a torch.

In 1966, 34 British Commonwealth nations and territories participated in an omnibus issue commemorating Great Britain's WWII wartime Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Here is the $2 value (Sc #228) from Hong Kong's set of 4 stamps. Stamp depicts Churchill with a background of searchlights scanning the sky above St. Paul's Cathedral during an air attack on London.

On November 17, 1989 Guernsey issued a miniature sheet of 12 (3 x 4) different 10p stamps with the overall sheet showing a Christmas tree. Each stamp depicts a different ornament on the tree, and this one (Sc #421c) shows lit candles.

Two of the four values from Great Britain's November 22, 1978 Christmas set of four stamps show lights. The 9p value (SG #1071) shows lit candles on a Christmas tree, and the 11p stamp (SG #1073) depicts an adult caroler holding a lantern for the younger participants.

Following the contribution by bookbndrbob, I am adding one more searchlights scanning with St. Paul's in London. It was a picture from 81 years ago, but now people in Ukraine are watching night sky like this...
