Where do you measure on a U1 when Scott Catalog says it is 13mm across the top, as opposed to 14mm or 15 1/2 on other stamps? I don't know if I have a U1 or not.
I think it's easier to visualize than to measure. (I assume we are talking US postal stationery here - the first Nesbitt issue). U1 and U2 - the "narrow" curved label die - have virtually no space at all between the words and the edge of the label. A picture would be helpful.
