Here are the two used stamps I bought at the show.

First is a 150 and I failed to notice the damaged perf at the right.

Secnd id a 151. It has shortish perfs at the top, but I like the blue cancel.

Will post mint later.

I think they are both nice looking examples. I like the cancel on the 150. I would find the perfs acceptable on both. Is the blue cancel part of a word or number or is it just an obliterator?

Both issues can fade, but these look nice and 'bright. Especially the 12c (it is especially prone to fading), which is really nice. I'd say you scored well!!! The 24c is probably the most prone to fading of any US stamp (that is certainly up for debate!), and a nice, sharp, clear 24c is particularly hard to find.

Nice looking stamps for sure. No doubt many will disagree with me and others will just call me a wet blanket but the the 12c stamp is most likely reperfed at top.

Concur with 153 having one of the worse color fade problems. This is why I put a nice looking/affordable proof under the real stamp in my album. Love to see the engraving detail this way!!!

They are very uneven and misshaped. I also strongly suspect that they do not gauge correctly as well.

Revcollector....no offense, but in your opinion.
In my opinion they are charming examples of their respective issues.

Have to agree with Winston. Still nice stamps. Always a sucker for blue cancels.

Rev - when you said "they" I thought you were suspicious of both stamps, but by "they" do you just mean the perfs on the 12c?

Rog - yes, I like the blue cancel. I have a 162 (also 21c) with a red cancel with a clean cert. Now I am incertsin if I will keep thos new one or resell it.
