You guys have been so helpful - thank you - here's another question. Trying to identify this stamp. It's a Straits Settlement overprinted with four cents. Can't seem to locate similar (but I'm probably not looking in the right places)!

Any information greatly appreciated.

Try 1899 ,Scott 92 , it is 4 cents on a 5 cent rose .Try S.G. 109

It appears to be Straits Settlements Four Cents overprinted on Five Cents carmine, first issued in 1899. SG 109. A common stamp.

The line down the centre would suggest it has been folded at some time prior.

Sc#92 (Without surcharge $30,000?)
