Ed,

Thx for the heads up re this valuable philatelic resource. Although my Spinks is a few years old, I believe it to be one of the best resources in my philatelic library. The detail drawings for early French issues sets a high bar for other catalogue publishers.

My pleasure. I wish they would update all the Colonies catalogs as it's been a painfully long hiatus.

In case anyone here has access to JSTOR (typically universities, research institutions and the like) - both the Catalogue de Timbres de France 2018 and 2019 (along with several other Spink publications) are available in their entirety online (and can be downloaded as PDF, for strictly personal use, of course): https://www.jstor.org/publisher/spinkbooks

Couple years out of date, but you can't beat the price (assuming you already have access)!

Sorry to get your hopes up, Rod! I know the feeling - as a researcher it's quite frustrating to "have membership" to a resource only to find that my particular institution doesn't have access to that particular journal...

Maury has been one of the most if not THE most reasonably priced stamp catalogue, even at full retail, for the last decade plus.

I would have to agree, after this purchase.
For the record
For some reason I only paid 8.93 Euros for my copy. (123rd ed)
Rest was shipping.

Perhaps it's the theory, like a good banking institution.
Offer a good product, at a reasonable price, and you have the customer for life.

this catalogue is lavishly produced and full of useful information helping you to distinguish between stamps with very minor differences. Clear images on almost every page - if not every page! An absolute bargain even at full price. Older editions - which are still very useful and informative - can be picked up for a song

FedEx do not ship to Post Office Boxes

No problem Rodney, It's just that FedEx don't deliver to PO boxes so I'll send it via another courier!
