I'm processing a small lot of Channel Islands kiloware, separating out the self-adhesives that I've learned from experience will not be lifted by water soaking, and using a mild solvent to remove those from their paper backing. Some self-adhesives will come loose in water, but others just won't. When all are finally off-paper, pressed and dry, I'll identify them by Scott number and add some of them to my albums. This kind of puttering around makes me truly happy.
