I confess I find this kind of stuff fascinating and worthy, I think, of its own thread. But I have no idea how to categorize it. Is there a name for this type of material and has any of it been cataloged? Would this be more appropriate on the US Covers forum?

Feel free to add items from your own collection!

Hi Greg,
We have centralized the US post office forms and labels information in a database here https://stampsmarter.org/features/N...ms_Home.html

You can read the intro to see how this DB was was started and how teh post office did not really care about how they assinged Form/label numbers over time.

Thank you, Don! That's an incredible database! I'd still be interested in seeing more of this kind of thing and I bet a lot of members have some of these collateral items tucked away.

Is it possible to change the title of this thread to include "Post Office Forms"?

GregAlex

I would show you some of mine on this thread, but we previously talked about three of my examples of forms on these threads, so I will just link them in here:

https://goscf.com/t/77641

https://goscf.com/t/70614

https://goscf.com/t/75919

There are many more to talk about, as seen in the excellent Stampsmarter database. The same form can have different date revisions, so a lot of items to hunt for here, and even new ones, yet to be discovered.
