Hi There, I have two packets of unopened, cancelled Canadian Domestogrammes dated 1973 which feature floral images of provincial wildflowers.
They are labelled 8A & 8B. I also have two unopened packets of Cdn Aerogrammes labelled 15A& 15B. (Not included in photo.)

My problem is that I cannot find a Scott reference number for these stamps. I think each packet has 6 aerogrammes but of course I don't want to open them to find out.
Is there a UA (or other) reference number(s) that I can use to tell me which stamps these packets include? And what provincial wildflowers are included in each one?
Many thanks for any guidance, - Stephanie

Are they actual stamps, or imprinted on the envelopes. If they are the latter you will not find them under stamps but most likely under postal stationery

Listed in the Unitrade Specialized as UD2 (POSTAGE/POSTE below stamp) and UD3 (POSTAGE/POSTES below stamp). Each number represents a set of 12 Domestogramme letter sheets. Unitrade does use Scott numbers. Looks like you have repackaged FDCs.

You will not find these listed in Scott. They used to be listed in Unitrade Specialized for Canadian Stamps as UD2 and UD3 until Unitrade stopped listing Postal Stationery. Since yours appear to be the first issue with "Poste" instead of "Postes" they would be the UD2.

They are now listed in the Webb's Postal Stationery catalogue as LS3 to LS14.The revised ones with Postes are LS15-Ls26.

Printed postal stationary. Backroads, they are not repackaged. This is the way Canada Post used to send out sets of mint or First day cancelled domestogrammes from the philatelic branch.

Thanks everyone for your input. The knowledge of the Stamp Community never ceases to impress me!

Not sure what "Backroads" Means?

Is there any way to know which stamps/ provincial flowers are featured in each package of six?

Also, I checked out the Webb Postal Stationery Catalogue and it's pretty expensive to buy new. Do you ever see used versions being sold?

No1, I am not surprised at that. The only package that I have is a sealed flat pack of 12 so I had assumed that was how Canada Post shipped them. That particular set is, I think, the only one I have because it fits in with a favourite topical theme.

And I was using a 10 year old Unitrade Catalogue so was not aware that they had dropped the, listing.

p.s. I found some used copies of the Webb catalogue on ebay at not a bad price but the shipping costs were high. It must be a big book!

But I did find one at the local library that is available for reference.....

Indeed
Just 10 days ago, I had a choice
Best I can recall, do not consider firm
5th Edition ? ...$12 AUD
6th Edition ? .....$14 AUD
2003 edition.....$75 AUD ... I offered $57 countered at $69
I declined, then my offer of $57 was invited to re apply, and accepted.
Awaiting delivery

Didn't know there was a 2003 edition of Webb's. I have a 2001 edition 7 and a 2019 edition 8. I haven't been able to "give away" the edition 7 due to the high S&H costs.

Also note that the numbering system in the 2019 edition 8 has been completely revised.
