Pshann

Grills will be found on some. An image of the reverse side will help determine if this stamp has a grill.

It looks to me that there is a grill, but the way the picture was taken it won't show up much. Picture needs to be taken under a very low angle with a light shining from the opposite side.

I do not think it has a grill looking at the scan of the reverse. Additionally, the color of the stamp is atypical for a grilled stamp.

While not impossible to find, the grilled 3c stamps on thick paper are much more infrequently seen. This stamp is not grilled.

Petert4522 & Pshann. I think what you are seeing and may be confused as grill, is actually the engraved filigree pattern from the stamp's design.
