My go-to spot for USA issues is the Virtual Stamp Club. http://virtualstampclub.comCurrently, "2021 United States Stamp Schedule" is the latest available, although they have schedule pages going back as far as 1997. They also have a TON of philatelic articles also going back to 1997. A real treasure trove. |

The two main online stamp catalogues, Stamp world and the one that I am involved with keep up to date on new issues, within 72 hours of release for many countries
I personally do most of the new issue updates for the catalog I work with. Today I added 138 new issues from 28 postal administrations, including today's new issues from Canada, South Korea, Macao,Mongolia, Serbia, and Ukraine and tomorrow's new issues from Moldova and Vietnam. |

DJCMHOH, I guess the question was, how do you know of new issues. Each country must be advertising it somehow in advance, so the philatelists will be able to come to the post office for first-day cancelation. |

For Canada go to CanadaPost.ca. You can sign up for a free Details magazine informing you of the new issues to be released. And you can buy the quarterly packs giving you one die cut of each stamp issued, and souvenir sheets; without having to buy booklets of 8, 10, 12. The best way to collect singles of Canada as you wont have to cut booklets apart and end up with duplication to get rid of. As well they mail any order for over $25.00 cdn for free to you. And being stateside you do not pay our tax, but may have to pay your state tax when received. As well issues from the last couple of years are still available in quarterly packs. And for France, Saint Pierre, Monaco, Antartic Territories, and other French colonies or dependincies go to www.Laposte.fr. Hope that helps. Mike |

It is not quite what you asked, but the Universal Postal Union is an excellent resource, their WNS (world numbering system) page lists all legal stamps published until the end of the previous year. https://www.wnsstamps.post/en/Stamps-SearchUnfortunately, links to the place DJCMHOH is with are banned on this board. stlspidey - send me a private message. Unfortunately due to issues with the previous directors of the online catalog website with this forum long before I became the editor of this online stamps catalogue in 2018, mentioning the website is now prevented on this forum. Rob Roy - I have bookmarks saved for well over 150 philatelic bureaus and keep tabs on what they are planning to release (most give at least a month advance notice on new issues, some more, some much less *glares at Canada Post*). I also keep track via delcampe and ebay for countries that are less helpful or do not have online philatelic bureaux. |

stampworld.com always posts new releases around the world. It sometimes takes a few days to update for rare countries.
As for future releases, you'll have to visit each postal service's website. In Lebanon for example, Libanpost sends us an email every quarter with the planned releases. |
