Hi there, I recently inherited a stamp collection and I have taken about two weeks to learn more about it. I came across this and I honestly think it's a 100% match? You can also see the word "Karl" and the watermarks are the same as description pictures.

Please see pictures and if this is a match, what's the value of it?

Your help would be appreciated! Thank you
Ben

Here's the link that I used to match with my set.

I'm not clear what you are matching.
The pictures show part of the DDR 5-year plan. It's a complicated issue but the details are in the watermarks.
Your copies appear to be cancelled to order (CTO) issues and have little market value. It's a fun set to collect though!

Do a search in this forum for 5-year plan or DDR and you will find a number of threads that you might find interesting.

Experienced stamps need a home too. I'd rather have an example that is imperfect than no example.
I collect for enjoyment, not investment.

bicken.bk...

As Dan noted, there have been a number of good articles written on this topic. One that I have found to be helpful appeared on the World Stamps Project website.

Its entitled "Varieties and types of postage stamps of the German Democratic Republic: the Five Year plan (1953/59)".

Many (most?) of the issues can be obtained at a modest cost. Makes for an interesting collecting focus area.
