Today's mail brought something I had not seen previously.

Documents from a Brokerage house in a sealed vinyl envelope with all the various USPS Priority Mail logos and declarations printed on it. Obviously not something that you could purchase at the post office, but apparently available for large mailers.

Front...

Back side...

Have these been around for a while?

Isn't this an older one? Look at the date on the trademark thing, says 2015. Maybe this company just had a bunch lying around?

Custom mailers are made of approved for use by some large commercial mailers with early Netflix DVD mailers, sending and return, being one example. LPL may be one such mailer. That said LPL does not send everything out with that envelope nor by Priority.

But PPG, aren't the Netflix mailers just Netflix mailers? This one is an official USPS Priority Mail envelope. The Netflix mailers aren't USPS issue, and are just First Class items.

mml, is this envelope a flippy-floppy type? Why does it look so tight? Is there another, stiffer envelope within?
