
This is a new addition to my collection. BN 478 is 4R rated and while I'm not convinced about the 4, the '78' is only matched by 478 in Freeman's book.
What do y'all think is the number?
The 478 numeral was in use from 1864 until 1894, the stamp was issued in 1890 onV2 watermarked paper so would represent late use and a worn hammer.
