Going back through some old stock. Found this under the microscope.

It does get hard to see in some of the engraving, but can be followed all the way through.

Scratch - Crack - or?

Hard to see with that yellowish color, but to me it looks like a scratch. A crack is often very ragged where a scratch looks more like a line

Looks like a plate scratch to me. I've seen lots in other Newfoundland issues.

My guess is plate scratch but so hard to know.
