Hi there! Does anybody know of a reference on the postal rates of Mexico from the start of the Mexican Revolution in 1910? There is a wonderful reference on the rates starting from 1975 (the T29 Tariff period) on Stampauctionnetwork, but I just can't find anything before that.

Thanks, and merry Christmas to all!

Hi Prexie3c

Try asking on MEPSI: https://www.mepsi.org/

Another source may be the APS Library: https://stamps.org/services/library

Prexie3c,

I have 'US International Postal Rates, 1872-1996' by Wawrukiewicz and Beecher. It lists the rates from Mexico to the US from January, 1881 until January, 1993. Is there a particular time period you want clarified?

In my opinion, the best source of information for Mexican Postal Rates is the "Indicador del Servicio Postal". It was a monthly publication (gazette) issued by the Mexican Postal Authority that was printed and disseminated as an internal information mean for all the Postal workers. Few complete copies survived to this day. It's in Spanish language. One of them is available in the Postal Headquarters Library. They don't have a copier and it's only available in situ. Unfortunately, this publication was printed till the eighties, though. It's also a rich source of philatelic information.
