It seems everything is in order (file name, type and size) but I keep getting this error message:
There is a problem with the file you are attempting to upload.
Filename: haiti.jpg File names must use only valid characters
Extension: .jpg Certain file extensions are not accepted
Size 290.78 KB File sizes must be under 300kb
Go back to try again.

I experience that as well. If the image optimiser shows a size just under 300kb, it might actually be a little bigger. |

My experience has been that the limit in real life has been under 200KB. With reduced size it has worked. |

Off-topic - I wonder how the error that allowed only 288.59 KB was made. I assumed that 300 KB was put as limit value, how was it translated to 288.59 KB? |

Rod, I do agree with you. As I recall, anytime I used it, it always made me go down under 200kb or it would not allow it to be uploaded. 300kb now, great! More detailed, images if they use a scanner! |
