No 314A, 316, 317, or 318, but I am happy that I got these.

Happy New Year to all.

I had chosen this as my set to collect (limited issues, ornate) but never made it.

I like your attention to the light cancels and great centering especially on the higher value 1$-5$

Wow nice set! I can't imagine how much time and patience involved to find such light cancels. Did you get most of these online or going through dealer stocks at shows?

Although I have never been a fan of the riotous Second Bureau design framework, I have to say, "Very nicely done!"

I'm glad you showed this to us.
Yours is much more interesting and attractive than many mint assemblages of the second bureau.

Replying to Canyoneer.

Some of the lesser value stamps came from my grandfather's collection which I have inherited. Also some dealer stock at shows. The higher values I obtained late 80's and early 90's. Simmy's, Lippert, Schiff? auction houses were used. There was a Samuel Shaskan from Stamford Conn. also. the $2 and $5 were from him.
The imperf pairs are the most recent acquisitions.
Just A LOT of looking.

photo61guy,
Very nice!
You show the sheet and imperforate versions, and note the absence of the coils.
What is your thinking on the booklets?
