I cannot find this in the Scotts catalog. It would appear to be early Czech issue rather than the later Slovensky state. Does anyone ID this item.

You won't ever find it in Scott, that catalog isn't remotely comprehensive enough. You have to use POFIS or Michel catalogs. This is from 1918, Mi LR110 or POF RV110, I believe. It's a Czechoslovak revolutionary overprint on an (imperial) Austrian 30h (Mi P52).

Thanks classic_paper for superfast response. It appears to be local issued at time of creation of Czechoslavokia.

Isn't it Michel LR73 or POFIS RV79?
Wasn't it used as postage due?

I accidently discovered this thread, and I'm not so sure, if this stamp is a fake.
Take a look at the picture. It seems to be photographed with a mobile phone using a software filter - just like a face "optimizing" beauty app.
So it maybe could be genuine, a scan would definitely be helpful ...

I have this image (Not Mine)
in case any similar arrived to my collection.
I have been remiss in not indicating authenticity.
I have been assuming genuine

The accent above the Y in the original image, does not match.
