Can anyone identify this cancellation? I couldn't find anything with this simple "A." There also seems to be part of a CDS at the left edge.

Merci bien. I did think Alexandria but could find no confirmation in sources and didn't know that Egypt used barred ovals. Where do I find the Type VII that you mention?
