I'm trying to track down the actual issue date of the Flying Tiger stamp issued by Chad in 1990.

Absent a photo or other illustration am
assuming you are referring to the "Year of the Tiger" issue. Which for the first day of issue includes depiction of both the animal and the aircraft.

My info cites Jan 14, 2010.

Are you perhaps referring to a stamp issued by the Republic of China (Taiwan) in 1990, SG 1930, Scott #2745, apparently issued on 26 September 1990?
