What Does The Acronym M.v.s. Stand For?

From 1939 to 1941 the Philatelic Truck toured the country. One if its drivers Ira P. Dawson signed one of the souvenir sheets, Ira P. Dawson M.V.S.

I've looked in all the usual places to no avail. What does M.V.S. stand for?
