Hi Pshann
I think it has been regummed, regumming can cover the watermark.

Rob Thanks What are your thoughts on the top left hand corner of the face of the stamp Is that a common flaw? Also I note tasmania has a unusual flaw
But I not sure whether this is normal |

Rob It also looks like the Roos back leg - something amiss And Australia looks like it's bleeding Just a novice commenting. Do you think it is a fake? |

Thank you I'm a little confused The postmark "the overland" ? Does that establish whether it is real or fake? Or a reprinted copy? |

The minisheet is a modern tribute to three classic stamps. I'm sure that yours looks shiny and very different from the original up close. |

Quote: The postmark "the overland" ? Does that establish whether it is real or fake? That's an immediate give-away but also different paper, lack of watermark, inferior printing, different perforations etc. |

The Australian Overland Telegraph Line was a 3,200 km (2,000 mi) telegraph line that connected Darwin with Port Augusta in South Australia. Completed in 1872, the Overland Telegraph Line allowed fast communication between Australia and the rest of the world. |
