I have some general questions concerning what to do with some of these stamps. I do understand that you are passionate collectors and I do not have enough time in my life to gather the knowledge that you all have. I have attached two scans just for grins. In general, in order to sell some stamps as carmine or lake variations, do they need to be expertise? Also in the case of the C23, I know this stamp is of minimal value, but I do possess 23 of the middle of the page examples never hinged. Do I just offer them as fine or VF or what would you recommend.
Thanks again. JoJo

It is not worth the effort to expertize 703a, lake and black, due to the low cv. If it were a 703b, dark lake and black, that would be a different story.

I would describe your C23 blocks as VF along with what they are i.e. centerline block, plate number block of six with two plate numbers, two "top", two registration markers"....... and of course, state the gum condition and any faults.
