Hi all. Just going through stamps that I have ignored/ not catalogued (picked up cheap or in WW lots). I have these Wurttenburg stamps/Official stamps. In Scott, do I find these under Germany, German states, Wurttenburg + Official stamps overprinted? (that was a mouthful).

Also, the first stamp with coat of arms (which I know is not an official), is that a fake/forgery? I aways assume anything I have that might be worth more that a few bucks is questionable :) - though that stamp has been cut into on one side. Thank you.

Can you see little silk threads on the back of the stamp? Depending on whether they are there, and what colour they are, determines what Scott # it is, and whether a reprint or not.

Thanks Greg - let me check. I might do a close scan of this one. Thanks.

Yes - I see the orange silk threads! :) so Scott 10? or do any of the later reprints have the silk threads?

First stamp is Wurttemberg Sc 21, issued 1860. About $10-$20, generally.

With orange silk threads, yes it is Scott 10 (Scott 21 is perforated). Trimmed rather tightly on the left side, but has a nice cancel - enjoy!

Maybe you could correct the titel topic. To a German speaking person, your spelling just reads like "Unidet Stakes of Amrika"
Wurttenburg -> Wurttemberg with an "m", not "n", and an "e" instead of "u"

Oh. Apologies for the misspelling- not sure I'm able to correct Title but I will try. Thank you for pointing that out.
