I have inherited a bunch of old stamps, and of course I'm wondering what they are worth. They have been in a can on a shelf for decades. I'm just now taking the time to explore them. I have attached a few examples of what's in the can. Maybe someone can tell me how much they are worth. Thank you!

It appears that someone used adhesive tape to mount some of the stamps. The tape adhesive has migrated into the paper leaving yellow stains and destroying any value those stamps might have.

If you have other unstained stamps, just give us another pic so we can have a better idea of what is in the collection.

Most of them are damaged and as already pointed out, some have tape adhesive damage. Monetary value is in pennies not dollars.

Agree.
You would be lucky to get 40c for the lot.
That said, there is always something I would take.
The Canada (great footprint Pmk)
The Hong Kong and Finland.

The value lies in the interest, not financial.
That's how my collection started.

Rod222, that "footprint" is the barred oval killer attached to the hammer with the circular date stamp. I believe I may have an extra copy of a similar killer on another stamp at home if you want one. Just Dm me if interested.

Hi Mike,
Yep, I understood it to be the "Killer" part of the duplex.
I just do not have an image of the full strike. (from memory)
No need to send anything, but if you have an image, I would appreciate it !
Are these known in different locations, or just Montreal (for example) ?

PS
I give bragging rights to anyone whom could crack this Aussie Postmark !
It can only be BRISBANE in my opinion.
But would you have gotten that?

Mike,
I went through my collection,
only 1 example of the 11 Bar Killer,
was on Sc#86 The 1898 Xmas stamp, and fairly smudgy
CDS was hidden.
