T360 No, I wish ..i had always wanted this sheet..but cost was certainly a factor...i purchased a Scott International album from the late 60's for a very low price..it was advertised as only a few stamps..i wanted to expand my collection a few years..and when I opened the French Polynesia section..it was sitting loose never mounted between pages...what a weird experience..but if its happened to me I am sure others have had similar experiences !!

What an exiting find philb.

I had kind of a similar experience and found this one in a mixed lot of stamps off ebay that didn't cost very much I thought it was kind of cool cause I didn't have the entire set of these stamps.

The magenta 80F isn't really to my taste; I'm not sure who/what the image is meant to represent. I do like the green and blue ships, though.

The forst rule of a stamp dealer... everything eventually comes in.

Glad you found it... or it found you!

Dianne:

I always liked that postal people set from the United States.
