I primarily use Chrome as a browser but when I restarted work part time I once again got into Microsoft world (Outlook, Office apps, Teams, etc.).
Of course, Windows 10 tries every way it can to get one to use Edge bit other browsers continue to update to counter their actions on changing defaults.
With a work provided laptop I decided to give Edge a try for work laptop.
Conclusion --- it has the look and feel of Chrome. I still need to change the search engine since MS defaults to Bing but mostly using to access Microsoft products so internet searching is less important. I never liked Internet Explorer with it clunky menu system.
I am using Edge and am thoroughly satisfied. Admittedly I am not tech savvy, but it does everything that I ask of it with no drama and has some really useful features.
I've been running Win11/Edge (IE is not supported in Win11) for a while on several of my PCs without any issues; it is fast and stable. While Edge is based upon the Chromium engine, Edge utilizes memory much more efficiently so it is noticeably faster than Chrome. Don
Edit: My wife, who is password-challenged, likes the new Edge password manager.
I have not dealt with passwords much with Edge but was easy to save them. 99% of the time I go into the menu system of Chrome is to deal with passwords. It takes too many clicks (and they have reorganized the menu more than one) to get to them. I have a bookmark on my bookmark bookmark to get to them.
I have resisted Win 11 for now even though I get reminded.
