I have been on here for a while I just haven't introduced myself. I am 47, Mom and grandmother to some wonderful little girls. I was not into stamp collecting at all a year ago when I came upon what I think is a very good little collection of probably a couple thousand stamps. About half are United States stamps from the late 1800s, early 1900's and the other half are from all over the world. They have all been kept in books and are in very good condition. I've tried to research some of them and I recently got a perforation gauge mind you I know I ain't using correctly but hey I'm trying. Now I spend most of my day going through the stamps and looking them up…I love it. I would like to share pics of some of the stamps especially the Washington two cent and Franklin stamps I have to get better input on what I have. Well that is if I can figure out how to upload them.

Welcome. Click reply to topic. That will open a new typing box. Click on free image optimizer. On the new page Click the green box to open your file folder and select the image or images ,depending on your browser, then click done. It will take a moment to show your pics inplace of the inverted Jenny stock photo. Above the image you will see the new file size. As long as it's below 300kb it will take. Click the save button and a green arrow will show up over your photos thumbnail. Tap the arrow and your optimized file will download. Close the optimizer then go to add image. Select the optimized image and upload it to your new post. You'll only see the file link until you post or preview your reply... Hope this helps and glad to have you!

Slinderman13,

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences. Russ
