I have a 1304C Line Pair with Small Holes. Scott Specialized makes no mention of Small or Large holes. Were Small Holes standard for 1304C? Do I maybe have something unique? New to this site and look forward to contributing what I've learned through the years. Thanks for any help.

It would help if you posted a picture of the stamps in questions. The forum needs to be able to see what exactly the questions is in relation to your stamp(s) in order to get you a decently qualifying answer.

Most common answer would be that they are punctures do to use and not intended. Would have to see them in order to better judge the intent of the "holes".

Small holes vs large holes is a factor in identifying Liberty series coil stamps. Scott 1304C 5c Washington is a member of the Prominent Americans series. No difference in hole size is documented in the Scott catalog for this stamp.
