Don't we all.

Oh, and of course in my dream, I am the only stamp collector at the auction.

Is there a way to generate a Craigslist search and have the results sent to you via email or RSS? Maybe IFTT has a workflow?

You can try www.estatesales.com - Collections seldom appear in estate sales because it is usually more profitable ( and easier) to sell direct to a dealer or auction house and estate sales companies rarely have the knowledge to price collections. However, on occasion you will find something in your local area.

one possible source is auctionzip.com. you can narrow searches by topic and location as well as auctioneers.
