I'm sorry, but the 71 from 1902 was printed on paper without watermark. So probably no treasure.

The forged ones in your picture are from the time of the "Entente" - that was established in 1904. So definitely too late for your 1902 stamp.

I suspect the "0" month on the Breslau-Oderburg Bahnpost cancel is just an error -- as in, they had the slug set incorrectly. The months on those cancels aren't prefaced by a "0" for single-digit months, so it's not a case of it being "01" with the "1" missing, etc. Only other option is that it's a "6" where the top of the loop is missing, and the remainder is smudged enough to make it appear as a "0".

That's a nice Fälschungen piece. Walter Behrens was a major stamp dealer in Germany between the was and his death in 1950. This was an item he put together to sell copies of the Germania forgery. It contained a copy of the real ones and the forgeries, with a description of some of the distinguishing differences.

That was where my vote lay, a dodgy "6"

Finished dealing with "Germania", was not as hard as I first thought, but I did get in a real pickle there for a while, with watermarks.
JKBlue's site helped.

The forgeries of the 10 and 15 pfennig, looks easy, just glancing for the missing serifs at the bottom of the "T"

Now on to Hindenberg, Hindenburg I am going to expend a lot of lighter fluid on those guys.

The "newbies" sorting process for "Germania"

1. Isolate "Reichspost" = 1900
2. Isolate Germania with clear background =1916-1919
3. Test for watermarks on the rest
4. No watermark =1902
5. Lozenge Wmk 1905-1919 ............ (Here, Isolate the 3 shades of the 20 pfennig, light blue, violet blue, and ultramarine)
6. All the rest that don't fit in catalogue colour spaces must be 1920

First, a little vocabulary:

Booklets — Markenheftchen (MH)
Booklet panes — Heftchenblättern (H-Bl.)
Booklet pane sheets — Markeheftchenbogen (MHB)

Many German stamps of the period were available in full sheets (typically 10x10) or booklets. The booklets consisted of a number of panes each. The panes are printed in a larger sheet, then cut into individual panes. But, the booklet pane sheets were also available for purchase by collectors. So, German stamps could commonly be found in two types of sheets — full 10x10 sheets and booklet pane sheets.

Your first item (the 1 and 12 Pfennigs) is a piece from a booklet pane sheet, MHB 43.



The individual margin se-tenants catalog as MiNr KZ 26.



Your second item (1 and 5 Pfennig) is from a Donation Sheet, or Einheitsgeberbogen.

Yours is from MiNr EGB 1.



Your third item (3 and 6 Pfennig) is from booklet pane sheet MHB 44.1.



The individual margin se-tenants catalog as MiNr KZ 27-1.



First item in the next post is also from MHB 44.1, or closely-related MHB 44.2. It catalogs in Michel as MiNr S 152.



Next item is from either booklet pane HMiNr H-Bl 92, to its booklet pane sheet, MiNr MHB 45.1 / or 45.2.
