I am a newish member. I actually joined a couple of years ago, but things got in the way and I didn't have much time for stamps. I have now decided to make time for the one hobby that I have stuck with for decades. I would call myself an intermediate level collector of U.S. stamps mostly used - regular issues as well as "back of the book". I'm sure that I will have questions as I take more time to enjoy my collection once again.
Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences. Russ
As you get back into your collection, do feel free to send some pix of same to prompt us. There are several of us here who were off-and-on over the years but who now derive great enjoyment from our long held interest. Have fun.
