hi rod222
What made you think it was fake?
Are there signs that it is fake?

Hi Nicos,
just putting the facts together, and arriving at the most probable answer.
The poor scan
The scarcity of the genuine article
The sheer volume of fakes
The dodgy design, esp where neck meets bust

..and the old chestnut
Prove a postage stamp is genuine rather than proving it it is a forgery.
One cannot do that with the evidence submitted.

Remember, these are opinions only
feel free to get professional certification
Last price I saw was £18,000 each £4000

A question for the more experienced,

Does the "One Penny POST PAID" also have the engraver's initials,
at the lower bust?
(JB = Joseph Barnard)
I only have good scans of the tuppenny blue.
