I can't speak to the printing of the cover, i.e. who Was the printer, no. printed etc.. The idea is the thriving black market during WW II. I knew of farmers who went rich selling "bootlegged chickens, liquor, and butter and eggs" during the war. Officially all chickens, butter, eggs were rationed. Sold to and through govt. channels. However The money was in restaurants in NYC where a chicken was not .25 but 2.00. I heard many tales of this one and that one carrying bootlegged chickens and other rationed food stocks to the black market during the war. Interesting in the country , where I worked its the helicopter about Korea time that ends bootleg liquor. Nice covers. Cheers, mark
