It is, WWII, a wonderfully interesting area for which to collect patriotic covers. One book on the subject is, "United States Patriotic Covers of World War II" can be found without much effort. Of course if there was a war or other reason to be patriotic, there are covers to be found.

Now I use a laptop which I can set on edge to view your photos. However, it would be easier on your readers, well cover viewers, if you rotate your illustration 90 degrees before posting.

Sorry about the side-wise photos. I'm not great on the computer. My goal was to get large images, so you could see the detail.

Those are great! I especially like the design of the "Tokyo Here We Come" cachet. What was that person trying to say by using a stamp honoring a Prussian military officer, though?
